STRUTTING BEAUTY ON THE INSIDETM
(1/2 day workshop)

WORKSHOP SYNOPSIS:
The workshop's premise is self-discovery and pride, using engaging and unique methods to identify inner beauty traits of personality, virtues and character.

DIAMOND MINING 101:
A wrapped gift links the analogy to inner gifts we all possess. This topic covers all the different types of beauty on the inside resulting in the undivided attention of all participants.

RELATIONSHIP RENO'S:
Winning tips to help us get along with everyone from parents to teachers and friends. Girls learn the all-important habit of imprinting (positive self-talk).

THE BOOMERANG EFFECT:
Dramatic examples show how one decision can change the world and the striking connection that one decision can change their world. We look at the ever-so-simple lesson: "negative action/negative reaction ... positive action/positive reaction."

A CLASS ACT:
This topic looks at respect and how to be a class act. It's an eye-opener that reveals how easy it is for anyone can step into the role.

SHOPPING ... FOR GOALS!:
This is a simple yet effective stepping stone to help all girls get excited about pursuing goals of all varieties.

THE GLITTER OF OPPORTUNITY: Grades 7 and 8 only
This topic outlines the many options and opportunities we all have to do anything we set our minds to.

RED FLAG GIRLS
(lunchtime program 7 visits)

WORKSHOP SYNOPSIS:
This program offers selected students, the opportunity of group sessions in a structured program, which has proven to be successful for girls with low self-esteem.

INTRO TO CONFIDENCE:
This segment gives a clear definition of what confidence looks and feels like. Journals are introduced and powerful affirmations are chosen.

NEW WAYS TO LOOK AT PROBLEMS:
Here we explore a multitude of ways to solve or manage any problem. Never give up is the important message.

INFLUENCE AND INSPIRATION:
We look at the different ways to become a positive inspiration and influence to others.

CONTROL AND BOUNDARIES:
Many girls tend to worry about things that are completely out of their control. This important segment shows how to bring the focus and energy back to the things that girls have control over, instead of what they don't.

RELATIONSHIPS AND HOW TO MAKE FRIENDS:
Girls will become skilled at recognizing "red flags" in relationships. Six steps to making friends and keeping them as well as six things that don't help.

DECISION MAKING:
Girls learn the uncomplicated lesson that negative action brings negative reaction and positive action brings positive reaction.

EASY AND FUN GOAL SETTING:
The emphasis is on setting small, attainable goals that girls will get excited about.

Guys:
FLEXING FROM THE INSIDE TM
(1/2 day workshop)

WORKSHOP SYNOPSIS:
This workshop is powerful, fast-paced, fun and interactive. Flexing from the inside is about flexing muscles of determination, resourcefulness and originality to name a few. It shows guys how they can be manly and powerful by flexing smart muscles too.

THE BENEFITS OF FLEXING:
Flexing inner muscles of determination and wisdom, to name a few, is explained and guys quickly discover the appeal of this concept. It's not just for the most popular guy, strongest, smartest or coolest... anyone can do it!

A KOANS CHALLENGE:
This group activity focuses on a race for power words resulting in a full understanding of flexing muscles from the inside.

MIND FLEX:
Successful people do it all the time. It's a simple visualization exercise using storytelling that is so captivating you can literally hear a pin drop, even in a room with more than 100 guys!

THE BOOMERANG EFFECT:

THE NO-NAME SEGMENT:
It's all about respect but I never have to say the word. It's the activity that says it all.

CARD 8:
The workshop comes full circle in this final segment about goal setting. The boys find themselves racing for 7 colourful cards and vying for the chance to answer questions that reward them with the much desired CARD 8! A rich experience for all!

Guys and Girls:
THE LEADERSHIP COURSE
(full day)

WORKSHOP SYNOPSIS:
To help kids understand the role of leadership and how they can affect the lives of others. Kids will discover more about themselves and how to show the world what they can do ... all while gaining a healthy dose of self-esteem.

MEET AND GREET:
Our future leaders get advice on relating to adults and revving up audiences.

A "CLASS ACT":
It is unfortunate that audiences of all ages are mostly unable to name someone that they believe is a class act. This segment outlines what it takes.

INSPIRATION AND INFLUENCE:
Inspiration and influence can come from the most unlikely sources and have a lifelong effect. We will discover who has been influenced and inspired and how we can make personal contributions to do the same for others.

UNDETERED DETERMINATION:
This topic covers determination, how leaders manage to get past fear and obstacles.

OPPORTUNITY:
It's everywhere! This segment is full of examples of young people who have grabbed every opportunity to beat the odds and become huge successes.

THE FUTURE:
It's begins with a simple message emphasizing the importance of a clear vision. We examine how goals help you get to where you want to be. Many kids claim they do not understand how to set goals or achieve them but this topic covers it all.

THE ASSEMBLY:
Kids practice good presentation skills so they are able to take the highlights of their day back to their own school to present their own interpretation of the leadership course.
